PHASE 1

When is the best time to start?

Anytime after you have read the Quick Start Guide or the Booklet and understand how the program works. However, we find it easier to start on weekends.

You also want to ensure you don’t have any vacations, holidays or celebrations planned during the course of the program that might tempt you to want to cheat on foods that will take you out of ketosis.

How do I take the drops?

Start taking all drops in Phase 1. Take All Drops sublingually (under the tongue) at least 20 minutes BEFORE or AFTER food or liquid and hold for 30 - 60 seconds before taking any other Dude Drops™ products.

Fat Burn Drops: Take 10 drops, 3 times per day (morning, noon, dinner).

Adrenal Drops: Take ½ dropper (1 squeeze) in the morning.

B12 Energy Drops: Shake well before use. Take ½ dropper (1 squeeze) in the morning or as needed for energy. Avoid taking in the afternoon as it may cause you to not sleep.

20% of customers will need to take 5 drops 6 times a day each time to overcome the body knowing they are not eating as much as the pre-load days. If you aren’t losing weight in the first week on the program, begin doing 5 drops, 6 times per day.

How often do we take body measurements?

Daily is best, but a minimum 1 time per week. The body will either burn fat or lose inches, rarely both at the same time.

Measuring daily will help you know when you are losing pounds and when you are losing inches.

When taking all drops, why do I have to wait 20 - 30 min before or after eating or drinking?

For maximum absorption.

The drops assist the messaging in the body to keep the fat doors open and in ketosis.

What do B12 drops do?

They assists with energy, cellular permeability, amplified absorption and brain function.

What do Arenal drops do?

Assist with boosting adrenals, getting them out of adrenal fatigue

Amplify hormone production, assisting with restricted hormone function due to obese restrictions

Do I need to track my total fat and calorie intake each meal during the loading phase?

Yes, it is important to at least reach the minimum (200+ grams of fat and 4000+ calories) each day in order to have the most success in reaching your goal weight. The better you load the…

more weight you will lose as the body will mark the high caloric preload calories as the amount you supposedly eat daily and will consume white fat (bad fat) to offset the calorie difference. This is exactly what you want.

the less hungry you will be when you move to phase 2 of the program.

Should I be concerned about a 5+ pounds gain during loading?

No. If loading is done correctly, the average weight gain is 3+ pounds. In rare circumstances, individuals will actually lose weight.

This generally happens when people have been constantly dieting or have limited fat calories. Their body is happy to finally get some fat in them.

The most important thing to consider is to ensure you consume at least 200+ grams of fat and 4000+ calories each day for 2 days. Almost everyone loses their loading weight within 1-2 days into phase 2, so no need to worry about any gains.

How should Dude Drops™ be stored?

Fat Burn and B12 drops are not temperature sensitive. However, it’s always best practice to store them in a cool, dark environment like a cupboard or countertop away from sunlight.

Adrenal drops should always be stored in a cool and dark environment.

Do I need to drink 128oz (1 gallon) fluid during loading?

No. However, you should consume at least 75 oz .of fluid each day during phase 1. We want to ensure you are filling your tummy with fat and calories during loading.

PHASE 2

Are there any side effects to loading?

There can be. Some minor side effects are headaches, nausea or lack of energy.

It’s normal to have at least one of these symptoms as your body is detoxing from all the abnormal high fats, calories and sugars you just consumed during loading.

These symptoms should go away within 1-2 days.

You can take a Tylenol or equivalent if needed to help with symptoms. Be sure to drink 100 oz. - 128 oz. fluid spread through the day.

How much fluid should I drink each day?

Between 100 oz. - 128 oz. At least 80% should be purified water.

Consuming more than 128 oz. can cause you to retain water. So, too much and too little is going to affect your weight loss. We found 128 oz. yields best results.

It’s best to drink at least every couple hours to keep your metabolism going.

Try to avoid drinking after 8 p.m. as you may need to get up more in the night to drain yourself.

Remember, most of your body is made up of water. It’s also how most of the bad fat is going to be broken down, move through your body, and excrete via urination. So every time you pee, you can be happy knowing fat is leaving your body and that you are a fat burning machine!

I haven’t cheated and I’m not losing or gaining weight.

If you don’t lose weight for 3 days in a row, do an Apple Day to reset your body.

Eat a maximum of 6 apples, spread throughout the day.

Start at any time before 8:00 A.M., and eat 1 apple every 2 hours.

If you don’t like apples you can use tomatoes instead, just not both.

Continue to drink ONLY water throughout the day to satiate your thirst. Not the typical 128 oz. per day.

Are carbonated beverages ok to consume?

No, carbonation restricts fat breakdown and keeps the body acidic. For best results, avoid carbonated beverages.

Remember, it’s only for 30 days. You can do anything for 30 days!

I'm planning on eating my fruit as a snack. How does that look?

For best results, fruits should be eaten at least 6 hours apart.

Here's an example schedule:

10am - fruit

Noon - protein, veggie, NO fruit

4pm different fruit

Dinner - different protein, different vegetable, NO fruit.

What is the minimum and maximum amount of calories I should be consuming each day in Phase 2?

We suggest starting with 600 calories (approximately 300 calories/meal) for the first week and increasing up to 1200 calories maximum only if you feel hungry or are working out.

For best results, the fewer the calories you can handle without feeling hungry the more fat you will burn.

When you are in ketosis, you shouldn’t be feeling hungry, as your body is burning fat and using it for energy. Most have no problem at all with 600 calories each day.

You can easily track calories using the free app “My Fitness Pal.”

Can I have foods that AREN’T on the list of approved foods?

No, we have spend years researching, sturying and writing the approved foods list. It's focused on foods to keep your body in the best balance possible to maximize weight loss. If it’s not on the approved list, it won't help you achieve your weight loss goals.

I did NOT lose anything today. Did I do something wrong?

No, you didn't do anything wrong. While your weight may fluctuate each day, the overall average should always trend towards losing weight.

Here are some common reasons people don't lose weight. Double check if you are...

-Drinking 128 oz. fluid each day

-Rotating foods each meal

-Only eating food from the approved list

-Having regular bowel movements, about once every 2-3 days while on the program

-Getting 7-8 hours of sleep a night

-Stressed

-Using a reliable scale that's digital and to the tenth pound

Remember, your body will either burn fat or lose inches, but usually not both at the same time. On days you aren’t burning fat you are most likely losing inches, which is AWESOME!

Should I rotate foods?

Yes, if you want to maximize weight loss, it’s best to rotate between at least

  • 3+ different proteins
  • 3+ different fruits
  • 4+ different veggies.

NEVER have the same things back to back.

I’m having problems pooping. What can I use?

First off, don’t be alarmed. If you typically have 1 bowel movement each day, you most likely will have one every 2 - 3 days while on phases 2 & 3 of the program.

Suggested supplements to help:

Cascara Sagrada: can be taken daily throughout the program. Can be purchased on Amazon and or local whole-food stores.

Smooth Move tea: only as needed, not daily. Can be purchased online or at most local grocery stores in the tea aisle.

Psyllium Fiber: taken daily. Can be purchased on Amazon and or local whole-food stores.

I forgot my lunch today. What restaurants can I eat at, if any?

It’s ok. We totally understand that most will have at least one day like this while on the program. It’s best to choose a restaurant that cooks from scratch. Here are some alternative meals you can have while out and about. Please note that these are emergency meals and are not to be incorporated on a daily basis. Cooking all foods yourself is the only way to ensure you know all ingredients are approved.

In-N-Out is a great option as meat and veggies are fresh. Either do two single protein style burgers, or a double. Onions are fine (not grilled), tomato, mustard (if desired), wrapped in lettuce.

Chick fil-A's market salad with light balsamic dressing is another great option. Don't add the granola and nuts, and only use half the dressing.

You can also have their grilled chicken sandwich, but replace the bun with lettuce and don't have special sauce.

Steamed veggies are ok.

Order meats cooked dry, with no added seasonings besides salt and pepper.

Can I exercise while on Phase 2?

Yes! However, we suggest taking it easy for the month you are in phase 2 and limit it to 50% LESS intensity than you used to.

We suggest cardio (walk/run) 20-30 min/day.

Remember, it’s only for a month. The program will help you burn more fat than you would by working out. Trust the program.

Note: if you are only looking to lose 5-10 lbs on the program, adding an approved breakfast each day (egg whites/protein shake) and working out will allow you to lose slower or maintain your goal weight. The minimum time on phase 2 is about 12 days.

What do I do if I’m planning on hiking, skiing, biking, hunting etc?

If you'll be burning more calories than normal, consider adding a breakfast of about 200 calories. For example, a protein shake (with whey isolate/egg whites and no sugars), or scrambled egg whites.

Be sure to drink lots of water.

Carry an extra meal or snack just in case. Remember, it’s always better to cheat by eating approved foods from the list vs non-approved.

Can I have a melba toast and fruit between meals?

Yes. Keep in mind:

  • Ensure you have fruits at least 6 hrs apart.
  • Don’t have melba and fruit together.
  • Wait at least 2 hrs between each.
  • Ensure to drink fluids at least every 2 hrs as well to keep metabolism up.
Can I add 0 calorie flavoring to my water?

Yes, depending on what it is.

Fresh lemon, herbal teas, or liquid stevia with filtered water are great.

Avoid things with salt, sucralose, sugars, dyes (such as blue 1, yellow 5, etc.) and other not approved ingredients for best results.

Are raw or cooked vegetables better?

Raw is best.

If you feel you get gassy or your stomach is getting upset, lightly steam them.

What about aluminum in deodorant?

Natural deodorant is best. Deodorant with aluminum could cause you not to lose weight.

Can I have salt?

You should try avoiding salt at all cost.

Salt makes you retain water. We want to be peeing. asmuch as we can, because that's how most of our fat gets excreted through the body.

Instead, season your food with salt substitute, smoked paprika, cayenne, lemon pepper, lemon juice, balsamic vinegar, or garlic powder.

Why shouldn't I eat after 8 pm?

You want your body to break down fat throughout the night up until lunch, not metabolizing the food you ate after 8 pm.

It’s best to carry this practice on even after you finish the program to keep your results.

Can I have carbonated water with no additives?

Yes, if you must have something, you can have sparkling water with your favorite stevia.

Keep in mind that carbonation causes your body to become acidic, which makes it hard to lose fat.

How do I measure my proteins and vegetables?

Measure with a digital food scale (in ounces or grams).

Always weight raw, not frozen or cooked.

Cut off all visible fat from meat.

I’m not hungry. Can I skip my fruit or parts of my meal?

No, make sure to have at least 600 calories per day, or 300 calories per meal.

Your body still needs to get nutrients.

Can I cook with oils?

Try to stay away from all oils in this phase.

Oils can affect your results.

Instead, use non-stick pans, a little water, lemon juice, or. alittle spray of avocado or coconut oil.

Consider using an air fryer, smoker, Traeger, oven, or non-stick grill instead.

Can I smoke meat or veggies?

Yes!

Should I choose organic?

Yes, organic, grass fed/free range, hormone-free is always best.

If you can't find or afford organic food, that's fine, you can still see results.

Why is lemon water or tea recommended?

Lemon water and tea can have many helpful effects, such as digestion, promoting weight loss, minerals, hydration, curbing appetite, boosting immune function and energy, liver detoxing, decreasing binge and sugar cravings, stimulating healthy bowels, fighting infection, potassium, decreasing blood pressure and anxiety, and preventing kidney stones.

Squeeze the juice of half a lemon (or a lime) in 8+ oz. of water (any temperature), stir and enjoy!

Which spices and flavors should I use or avoid?

Be sure to look at the ingredients list, not just the packaging.

Avoid items with sugars, sucralose, starch, caffeine, aspartame, artificial flavors, dyes (like blue 1, yellow 2, etc.)

Usually, the fewer ingredients, the better.

Can I have sugar-free gum?

Yes, gum sweetened with xylitol or stevia is okay. Avoid aspartame.

"Pur Gum" is a clean brand you can buy from Amazon or local grocery stores.

What type of sweeteners are ok?

Measure with a digital food scale (in ounces or grams).

Always weight raw, not frozen or cooked.

Cut off all visible fat from meat.

Can I have hot sauce?

Yes, as long as there are no sugars, salts, or added fillers.

Can I use rice wing vinegar?

Yes, if it's low sodium and has no sugars or additives. You could also substitute apple cider vinegar or lemon juice.

I'm from Canada, and we don't have Bragg's liquid aminos.

In Canada, it's called Bragg's Soy Sauce. Just be sure to use it sparingly, because it has sodium (salt.)

Can I have Walden Farms products?

You can have their dressings. Use them only in moderation. It can help add flavor and variety.

PHASE 3

Should I stop all drops in phase 3?

No, keep taking B12 and Adrenal drops. You can keep taking these indefinitely, if you like.

I've dropped another 2 lbs during Phase Three. What's next?

Don’t do anything, that’s totally fine. Your body is just slower getting out of ketosis.

When you start phase 4 and increase calories, your weight loss will stop.

PHASE 4

I gained over 2 lbs.- now what?

If you do your morning measurement and find your weight has increased by over 2 lbs., immediately do a Steak and Apple Day.

Skip breakfast and lunch

Drink up to 128 oz. fluid throughout the day to help curb your hunger

At dinner (around 6 P.M.), consume as large a steak as you desire, along with 1 apple (or 1 tomato, but not both).You should have lost 1-4 lbs. the next morning to get you right back on track.

Can I have oatmeal now?

Yes, you can have a small portion occasionally.

Should I keep avoiding salt?

No, you can reintroduce salt sparingly.

1/4 tsp. a day max is recommended.

Your taste buds should change, helping you appreciate foods better without salt. You should need very little salt moving forward.

Can I hit the gym hard in phase 4?

Yes. Try to keep your weight within 2 lbs. If you can keep your weight to within 2 lbs. for a full 3 weeks, your body and metabolism will reset to your new weight.

How many calories should I eat in phase 4?

The average man will need between 1900-2300 calories/day, based on your activity level.

I'd like to lose 5 more pounds. Can I go back to phase 2 and lose more weight right now?

No, unfortunately you will need to complete at least 4 - 6 weeks of maintenance.

The sad news is, you will need to start all over again starting with phase 1.

We know loading stinks and it’s going to be a little harder the next time around. At least you know what to expect. You got this!

Can I eat nuts in phase 4?

Yes, but no more than 1 tablespoon/day. Nuts are calorie-dense, so they may contribute to gaining weight if you don't monitor your intake.

Should I still watch my macros in phase 4?

In this phase, you don’t want to be consuming exorbitant amounts of fat or carbs.

If you want to keep track, stay in the suggested range of 45–65% of your daily calories from carbs, 20–35% from fats, and 10–35% from protein. It will vary based on the individual and what goals you are trying to accomplish.

Right now, your focus is just maintaining your weight +\- 2 lbs.

PHASE 5

Should I keep weighing myself daily?

It is best to weigh yourself everyday for at least the first 2 weeks, and weekly thereafter.

All foods are now back on the table.

If you go over 2 lbs. you can do a steak and apple day, as outlined in phase 4, to get back on track.
